His composition style includes film, contemporary classical, world, rock, jazz and electronica.
Pedro plays classical, flamenco, electric & Portuguese guitars; sitar; bouzouki; mandolin; mandola; cavaquinho; viola braguesa; cuatro; oud; electric bass.
He recently founded a chamber orchestra, the Manhattan Camerata, with his wife Lucía Caruso. They both also co-founded the electronic tango group Hangar 45 with Angélica Negrón.
