Lessons

Pedro da Silva specialises in teaching Music History, Theory, Composition and Guitar (all styles except Jazz). He also teaches a variety of other subjects including Languages (conversational level and basic diction in Spanish, French, Portuguese and English), Orchestration, Ear-training (sight-singing, dictation, transcription), Ethnomusicology (especially Indian, Latin-American, Spanish and Portuguese music), and beginner Sitar performance.

Private lessons or tutoring are $55 an hour -- $45 for students. A travelling fee of $5 to $20, depending on the distance, will be added if the lesson is not at my apartment or in its immediate vicinity. My address is the following:
