Exciting news:

Pedro da Silva has joined the Composition faculty at NYU

    On September 5th 2006 Pedro da Silva joined the composition faculty at NYU (New York University) teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.  He is currently seeking more students (undergraduate to doctorate); anyone interested may contact him at pedro@pedrodasilva.com .

    Guitar virtuoso Oren Fader kicks off the Guitar Discovery Festival with a fresh program of "New Music for the Classical and Electric Guitar."  He will conclude the classical guitar part of the program with Pedro da Silva's "Rapsodie sur un Thème d’Olivier Messiaen."

New CD released:

        Master guitarist Oren Fader has just released a CD called "First Flight" with ten solo guitar works that were written for him. The last track on the recording is Pedro da Silva's "Rapsodie sur un thème d'Olivier Messiaen." (Click here to buy the CD from CDBaby.com)
